Retained and Container Search

Lincoln Finance and Accounting is proud to provide our clients with additional options beyond contingency based contract and direct hire placement.

Advantages of Retained: The most obvious is the preferred status versus dealing in a contingency environment. The incentive to deliver is raised and carte blanche is given to searches that operate on a retained or contingency basis.

Our Retained rates mirror those of our contingency basis and a standard Retained search operates on a percentage of annual salary basis. We provide a detailed search inclusive of discovery process of job specifications, identification of key skill sets/areas of expertise, target industry and company lists by partnering with our clients before the engagement.

Rate Structure: Rates are determined on level and difficulty level of search. One third of the estimated fee is paid up front. The second third is paid upon on a predetermined delivery date of specified metrics. The final third is paid upon start date of the candidate. Hourly Retained Search: Similar in fashion to a Retained but our Consultants will charge an hourly rate of $60 per hour with the average Retained Search taking 80-120 man hours to complete. The same process of gathering requirements to identify target opportunities, candidates, and key competitors will take place. Container Search: Simply put, a Container is a combination of retained and contingency search. The One Third Container is paid up front upon discovery of search criteria and upon agreement to take the search to cover the initial expenses and time involved on the search. The incentive to engage on the search from the Recruiter’s perspective is heightened as the commitment to the Container Search shows a commitment to Lincoln Finance and Accounting and utilizing our skill set and knowledge base in Executive Search.
